About the company
Bashkir Shaft Sinking Management was established in 1985 as a specialized enterprise for the construction of the Sibay underground mine and further for the construction of underground mines provided for in the plan for the development of the regional raw material base.
In 1994, the enterprise was incorporated into NJSC BSSM. Over the years, we have sank and constructed dozens of kilometers of shafts and hundreds of kilometers of horizontal workings, particularly using special sinking methods.
The number of our employees has been steadily increasing and currently is over 1,100 people. The main specialization of the enterprise is the sinking of vertical, inclined and horizontal workings in all types of rocks, development of quarries. Our own operated polymetallic deposits located in the Republic of Bashkortostan are the guarantors of the stability of the enterprise.
Our subsidiary company, BSSM-Kazakhstan LLP, works at the mining enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the Republic of Uzbekistan there is an official representative office of the company, in the Republic of Montenegro – DOO BSSM-Montenegro.
As a dynamically developing enterprise, we are interested participating in new projects, both in Russia and abroad, as well as constantly raising the level of our technological base and exploring new advanced sinking methods. In collaboration with scientists from Magnitogorsk, Moscow, Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, new methods of work are being developed.
Being adaptive to changing market conditions is one of the strategic objectives of the enterprise.
The company has all the necessary licenses for the works performed and is equipped with all the necessary specialized equipment for mining works and capital mining operations. Our own operated polymetallic deposits located in the Republic of Bashkortostan are the guarantors of the stability of the enterprise.
Revenue structure
Currently, the Company is developing two business segments that are technologically well complementary:
- SMR (general construction works for the mining industry; mining, mining works and capital mining operations)
- Own mining (mining of polymetallic ores / copper-zinc-silver-gold / at our own deposits in the Republic of Bashkortostan with subsequent processing at the production facilities of enterprises)
The company’s revenue is more than 5 billion rubles.
